EDITORIAL POLICY

Useful explanations. Traceable references.

How the resource approaches sources, uncertainty, product claims, and corrections.

Start with the question

Articles are written around a defined reader task rather than a collection of loosely related keywords. Each guide separates what a record shows from what someone might infer about ownership, intent, or a business’s internal process.

The site does not publish fabricated testimonials, credentials, partnerships, review scores, or live-looking sample statistics. Wallet guidance uses a decision framework rather than declaring one universal product winner.

Prefer primary documentation

Technical explanations point to relevant project documentation, such as Bitcoin developer references, Bitcoin Core release instructions, and the Esplora API contract. Each long-form article includes one outbound editorial source link and related internal reading. The resource library collects additional direct references.

Project documentation can evolve, and some reference pages describe older releases. Current version-specific commands, resource requirements, supported features, and provider policies should be checked in the applicable project’s current documentation before implementation.

Keep examples and dates understandable

Numerical examples are identified as illustrative. They are not market data, measured network conditions, or fee recommendations. Article publication labels appear consistently on articles, listings, structured data, and the RSS feed. A publication date does not imply that software behavior cannot change afterward.

Modification dates should reflect substantive edits when made, not automatic cosmetic refreshes. New content and later corrections should retain a clear relationship between the visible page and its metadata.

Respect privacy and scope

No guide treats an address lookup as a complete wallet report or public transaction links as automatic proof of personal identity. Recovery phrases and private keys are kept outside public lookup workflows. Descriptions of external services do not imply affiliation or guaranteed performance.

Send a correction

Use Contact to identify a page and the specific statement that needs attention. Include a primary reference or reproducible explanation when available. Avoid sending secret wallet material, personal account documents, or unrelated financial records.
